For all you anthro dorks out there, or anyone who finds other cultures interesting, a groups of anthropologists from The Field Museum and associated Illinois institutions believe they have unlocked the secrets of Maya blue - a pigment used by that culture that miraculously retains it's vivid color for centuries.
