I don't think my body liked that. At least, unlike that other time, it was only a faint cramp that went away quickly.yeahdoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09866038911730571481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9026983742453631592.post-65959030514336579182008-01-28T17:37:00.000-06:002008-01-28T17:37:00.000-06:00too much water can cramp you too! there are lots ...too much water can cramp you too! there are lots of reasons for cramping- it's possible that you're low on electrolytes - potassium shortages will cramp you right away. the other thing is i find the cramps go away as you get in better shape- it might just be from pushing too hard.juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16475626486014286511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9026983742453631592.post-50661672294339022852008-01-28T16:35:00.000-06:002008-01-28T16:35:00.000-06:00Right on. I ran without sipping the first couple times and cramped, so my brother told me to drink during. That cleared things up, but, as I mentioned, the cramping returned. I'm just worried if I drink too much, I'll have to pee while I'm running (and yes, I take care of that before I head down!)yeahdoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09866038911730571481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9026983742453631592.post-73189498078473711272008-01-28T16:24:00.000-06:002008-01-28T16:24:00.000-06:00Great job!regardless of heat you should be able to...Great job!<BR/>regardless of heat you should be able to run a 5k without drinking. drink in the AM before your run to make sure you don't go into it dehydrated, but your body can sustain for 30 min without.juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16475626486014286511noreply@blogger.com
